Jonathan Lovett is a 23 year old fine art photographer. He is from Los Angeles and is currently based in Salt Lake City. Jonathan holds a BFA in photography from Parsons School of Design. Jonathan’s work explores the connection between queer individuals and the natural world through questions of queer ecology by highlighting ways of viewing, experiencing, being in, and being nature that diverge from a heterosexist and patriarchal understanding of the natural world.
Jonathan Lovett has had work in installations in Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, and Paris. He is a YoungArts alumni of 2019 and was semi-finalist in the Presidential Scholar for the Arts competition.
